Breakfast
Breakfast at White Rocks Inn will be one of the highlights of your
visit. It is a memorable experience, with three courses served on antique
china in the candlelit dining room of the main house. Your breakfast
will begin with a fruit dish such as baked apples with spiced caramel
sauce, cantaloupe with fresh berries, or bananas and kiwi with tangy
cream cheese sauce. The second course may be freshly baked maple walnut
muffins, spicy pumpkin bread, potato pancakes with herbed goat cheese,
or perhaps spinach quiche. The main course includes a hot entrée,
such as Eggs Dijon, Cranberry Orange Stuffed French Toast, or Egg Frittata
with Asparagus, as well as ham, bacon, or sausage served on the side
and plenty of fresh coffee, tea, and a selection of juices.
Snacks
Fresh homemade cookies await you in the afternoons and evenings. Guest
favorites include chocolate chip, peanut butter, cinnamon snickerdoodles,
and fresh ginger cookies. Apples, chips, pretzels, candy, and other
snacks may also be available. A pot of hot water is always handy to
make a variety of green, black, and herbal teas, as well as hot cocoa.
On summer afternoons you may enjoy lemonade or raspberry iced tea on
the side porch.
Dining
Evenings at White Rocks Inn are peaceful and serene, since there is
no restaurant on site. You are free to enjoy the idyllic farm setting
on winter evenings curled up by the fire with a glass of wine and a
good book, or summer evenings on the porch watching the fireflies in
the meadow.
Fortunately there are several wonderful restaurants nearby that serve
a variety of delicious food for your dining pleasure.
